Bhakra Beas Management Board prides itself with a strong, dedicated and diversified manpower. The total Sanctioned strength of BBMB is  about 12072 employees.  Out of there, 696 are Group A officers who are highly qualified and are posted in BBMB as per the share from various Partner states of BBMB. To oversee the financial management of BBMB, the Finance Department is headed by a financial adviser and assisted by around 35 middle level finance managers. To ensure that the workforce enjoys good health, BBMB is maintaining and running its own hospitals at project sites and primary health centres at other locations, deploying specialist medical practitioners. To provide quality education to the wards of the employees at project sites, BBMB runs 4 Senior Secondary Schools affliated to CBSE New Delhi having highly qualified and experienced teachers.

It is not without reason that BBMB is generating power at the lowest cost and supplying perennial irrigation water to the Northern States, which have brought Green Revolution in the country.
